Can I use the automatic 3-point belt?
The 3-point belt in our range is universal, which can be mounted in most vehicles, but when the belt is connected to a (side) airbag, it unfortunately cannot be placed. Then we must refer you to the dealer. The cassette of the belt must also be placed 90 ° (ie vertically), only when it is placed vertically will the belt disengage and unwind. The 3-point belt is suitable for mounting on the door jamb, as long as the cassette is mounted vertically (90 °).
If you wish to use the belt on the rear seat, it is therefore advisable to check whether the belt cassette is placed vertically or horizontally.
This automatic 3-point seat belt can be placed on the driver's side as well as on the passenger side.
The 3-point belt is available with receiver or without receiver. https://seatbeltspecialist.com/Webwinkel-Category-16662974/3-point-car-seatbelt.html The bundles for a belt with receiver can be found below on the same page.
I cannot unwind my seat belt
There is a roll-over protection on the 3-point belts. This means that it blocks when the car rolls over (or when the car is not standing upright) and that you are therefore held in your seat by the seat belt in the event of such an accident. A bullet weight in the retractor takes care of this.
- It is therefore important that you hold the reel exactly vertically (as it should be mounted in the car) because only then it unwinds.
Do you also assemble?
We only supply belts and parts for belts. Assembly is best arranged locally through your own car company or carried out yourself if you are handy with this.

How do I know which length of 3-point belt I need?
The length outside the cassette determines which length is suitable. Measure the length up from the roll-up cassette to the shoulder mounting point and from the shoulder mounting point to the end mounting point. Without anyone sitting in the chair, the length outside the cassette is important.
With the 3 meter belt there is 60 cm of tape outside the cassette which needs to be tensioned. The measured distance must be 60 cm or longer.
With the 3.5 meter belt (XL) there is 100 cm of tape outside the cassette which needs to be tensioned. The measured distance must be 110 cm or longer.
With the 4 meter belt (XXL) there is 150 cm of strap outside the cassette which needs to be tensioned. The measured distance must be 160 cm or longer.
I have a car, brand ..... model .... from year ..... Which seatbelt do I need?
To determine which seatbelt you need, it's important to check if your original seatbelt has any special connections, such as an electronic connection for an airbag system in the door pillar or a pattern on the cassette.
Universal 3-point seatbelt: If your seatbelt does not have any special connections, you can use our universal 3-point seatbelt. This is available in three lengths (3 meters, 3.5 meters and 4 meters). To determine the correct length, measure the distance from the cassette to the shoulder mounting point and from the shoulder mounting point to the end mounting point, without anyone sitting in the seat. Make sure that the seatbelt cassette is mounted vertically (90°).
Seatbelt webbing replacement: If your seatbelt does have a plug connection or ignition pattern on the cassette, you can use our seatbelt webbing replacement service. This is also a good option if your seat belt does not have a vertical mounting angle of 90°.
Repair: If your seatbelt has a mechanical defect, is blocked or has been activated, please contact us to discuss the possibilities for repair.
How does this work?
If your original belt contains electronic connections for the Airbag, gas cartridge or belt tensioner, the belt replacement can be a solution for your belt if it has a fraying or damage to the belt belt.

This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If your complaint is not yet being dealt with elsewhere, you are free to deposit your complaint via the European Union platform.
Seat belt requirement
Seatbelt obligation and possibly. exceptions
But how does it work if there are no seat belts in the vehicle? The year of manufacture of the vehicle is important in answering this question. Older cars sometimes have no or too few seat belts. The law makes an exception in these cases. Below is an overview of the obligation for seat belts by year of manufacture.
Year of construction before 1-1-1971: no obligation for seat belts
.
Year of manufacture after 31-12-1989: a seat belt must be present on all forward-facing seats, including the rear seat. If a place does not have a seat belt, this is not a seat!
Year of construction after 1-1-1995: seat belts must be present on both forward and rear-facing seats
. Use child restraint for them. But here too the following applies: no more than one person per seat. Children under the age of 12 should never sit in the front seat without a seat belt or child restraint.
